Joshua White, Founder @Fireside Project
Joshua White is a lawyer, peer support advocate, and psychedelic researcher. He believes that peer support and other forms of non-clinical support have a critical role to play in the continuum of care for psychedelic experiences. Joshua is the Founder, Executive Director, and Board Chair of Fireside Project, a nonprofit that operates a free support line for people in the midst of psychedelic experiences or processing past psychedelic experiences. Before founding Fireside Project, Joshua spent 18 years as a lawyer, mostly as a Deputy City Attorney at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, where he focused on suing businesses exploiting vulnerable communities. He also volunteered as a counselor on Safe & Sound’s TALK Line and a psychedelic peer supporter for the Zendo Project.
